Kristina Pfrommer
Kristina Pfrommer is a 20 year veteran of the aerospace and defense industry and is co-founder/principal software consultant at Sawgrass Innovations, LLC. Kristina is an experienced software development manager that excels at building/leading high performance software development teams and implementing cutting edge project and process management. Her areas of expertise include software systems engineering, quality management, agile methodologies, information assurance, cyber security, data base development, and business data analytics.
Kristina has held several leadership positions in the Department of Defense and was most recently a Product Portfolio Director at the US Army’s Software Engineering Directorate. Other prior positions include Software Development APM for the Global Combat Support System (GCSS-Army) and Software Engineering Division Manager, including the development of an ACAT 1C-MAIS at SED. She has also held positions in the defense industry including Software Systems Engineering Manager at SAIC, Inc. and Software System Lead at ERC, Inc.
Kristina holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida. She is dual certified in Defense Acquisition University Level III in System Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering, and Test and Evaluation, as well held several cyber security certifications. She also holds an FAA Private Pilot’s License and has been trusted with a DoD Secret security clearance for 16 years.
